CNN reports that Trip Advisor has been fined one-half million Euros in Europe for apparently not doing enough to advise fake reviewers not to travel to the site.
How can Trip Advisor figure out conclusively which reviews from Italy are fake? We have 3 signs…
1. Review saying “you will definitely love the Vatican. Much better than an eternity in Hell.”
2. Review calling Forever 21 the trendiest shop in Milan.
3. Review promising “everyone will enjoy your photos of the Leaning Tower of Pisa on Facebook where you use the right camera angle to pretend you are holding the building up with one hand.”
