Sporting News reports that Toronto Blue Jays (former) General Manager Alex Anthopoulos has won its award of “Baseball Executive of the Year.” Anthopolous, whose contract was set to expire this weekend, resigned today, reportedly because a new contract offer would no longer allow him to have final say on player personnel moves, but rather let new team President, Mark Shapiro have final say on such decisions.
3 Slogans We Propose For The Blue Jays Based On This Story
