Mets to Meet Royals In World Series

The Kansas City Royals will take on the New York Mets in the 2015 World Series.

3 Facts That Arise From This Story

  1. The last time the Royals won the World Series in 1985, Back To The Future was in theaters. So why is everyone talking about Back To The Future and the Chicago Cubs?  Talk about how middle-aged anyone who remembers the Royals last winning is!
  2. The last time the Mets won the World Series was in 1986.  We’re guessing you could have rented Back To The Future on VHS then, if you missed it in theaters, just like the Red Sox missed winning that World Series when a ball went through Bill Buckner’s legs.
  3. Many of these team’s players, like Noah Syndergaard weren’t even alive the last time these two teams won a World Series.  So they really have no way of proving their teams ever won, other than a time machine.
