Yahoo reports that a study indicates that one in 6 retired NFL players file for bankruptcy within 12 years of retirement.
We have three suggestions to possibly avoid this.
1. Never retire! Do you really want a new generation of young people to risk head injuries? We didn’t think so.
2. Include financial training to mention: you only need seven Cadillacs, i.e. one per day of the week while playing. Anything above that is a waste of money!
3. If you retire in Florida, be careful – those seemingly cheap 4 pm dinner buffets really add up! Head to the grocery store instead.
