Cat Better At Investing Pretend Money Than Professionals

The Observer reports that a cat named Orlando outperformed a panel of professionals and a team of grade school students in a year-long competition to see who could earn the most investing pretend money.

3 Important Investment Lessons To Take Away From This News

1. We must find out how to invest in the Observer, because if they can observe a cat for a year, just imagine what they could observe if they were on the lookout for real news!

2. If your cat isn’t earning 5% returns, it may be time to fire your cat!

3. A British grade school education is no guarantee that your children won’t grow up to be outwitted by cats, which have been outwitting British people since the debut of the cartoon Simon’s Cat in 2008.

  1. I’m not surprised by the fact that a cat is better at finance than “professionals”. After all, those supposee professionals caused the recession, not cats. Maybe we should let cats run Citibank and AIG, and start looking at some funny broker pictures.

  2. You certainly get a lot of mileage (and posts) out of cats (and I laugh at everyone). I simply must insist, though, that you accompany each cat post with at least a dozen cute cat photos. I think it’s part of the “terms and agreements” of WordPress.

    • We appreciate your cat blog-entry patronage, and are clearly in violation of the Cute-Cat Terms of Service again, with today’s latest cat entry. However we will remain on the look out for cats to photograph and add to future cat blog posts.
