Google Inadvertently Invades Its Own Privacy

Yahoo reports that Google accidentally released a weak earnings report hours before schedule, after which the stock plunged.

We extend our sympathies to Google, for not making as much money as some analysts hoped in its business of revealing everyone’s personal information everywhere, and then accidentally revealing its own private information.

3 Worse Things A Search Engine Could Have Accidentally Disclosed

1. A spoiler to the ending of the movie Cars while you were searching for a new spoiler for your car.

2. That you are an experienced TV actor and nobody has searched for you since the internet became popular in the 1990s. Sorry to break the bad news, other guy from Perfect Strangers who played Larry Appleton! (We’d use your real name, but that would require taking the time to search for it, and who has time for that?)

3. That convincing advertisers to pay for mobile ads that your lipstick accidentally clicked while your phone shuffled around your purse is a tough sell! Your lipstick has tightened the purse strings since the 2008 recession!
