Yahoo Finance reports that SpaceX is building a mile long test track for Hyperloop transport. “What is hyperloop?” you ask.
According to Yahoo, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk “previously described Hyperloop as a cross between a Concorde jet, a rail gun and an air hockey table.”
They might want to work on the description before marketing it to people, if it’s ever invented. Here are three worse descriptions of potential ways to travel.
1. “A cross between riding a donkey on a narrow path next to the Grand Canyon, a car engine backfiring, and a Wile E. Coyote cartoon.”
2. “A cross between getting swallowed whole by a whale and thrown up by a whale.”
3. “A cross between that amusement park ride you wish you didn’t get on and that amusement park ride you got stuck on for five hours during a power failure.”
