Bloomberg reports that former Microsoft CEO has disclosed he has bought a 4% stake in Twitter.

3 Questions That Arise From This Story

1. Is Steve Ballmer even capable of delivering 140 character messages?  From his long barking sales pitches back at his Microsoft days, to the long error messages we receive on Windows, we think maybe not.
2. Does this mean Twitter is as relevant as the Zune and the Windows Phone and whatever else Microsoft may have released during the Ballmer years? Prove us wrong, Steve. Just please prove it on Twitter so we can read it instead of listening to you bark.
3. Do the LA Clippers look forward to tweeting all the time? We’re guessing this is a new part of the job description since Ballmer owns the team.
