In The Market For An Elephant Bird Egg?

Yahoo News Digest reports that a rare massive egg, over 400 years old, of an extinct animal called the “elephant bird” is expected to fetch at least $75,000 in an auction.

3 Questions That Arise From This Story

1. These things are only 400 years old? Why are they never at garage sales or in reality TV storage lockers?

2. You should definitely buy it*, because if there’s one thing we expect from Jurassic World is to not learn anything could possibly go wrong. Right?

3. Don’t these stupid things just depreciate 30% when you roll them off the lot? (Answer: perhaps more than that if you ironically roll them into a 400 year-old tree.)

*applies only to eccentric theme park operators
