Yahoo Finance reports that Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is now the third richest person in America. From the article:
“Amazon, a company known for growing its business at a loss, has now had two consecutive quarters with a profit.”
Since we continually offer Amazon free slogans, here are some more:
- “The place you can help drive Americans out of business, without feeling bad by having to look at them at Walmart, or some mom-and-pop store, whatever that is.”
- “We’re run by a guy who gets richer whether we are profitable or not. But he does get irritable, so sign up for Prime now, so someone can bring stuff to your door 200 days a year at a loss.”
- “Amazon, you can currently buy a used copy of Donald Trump’s ‘Art of the Deal’ for more money than a new copy. Yes that does seem like an unsustainable business model! But on the plus side, good luck getting royalties on that used copy, Mr. Trump.”*
*You could also just go to the library and save $4.20. Like really, do you need to own the Art of the Deal? You could probably read that in a few hours.
